This is woman name which has Latin origin. This name comes from of Latin word “lux” (světlo/ in English “light”). Domestic forms of “my name” are… Lucka, Lucinka, Lucina, Luci, Luciáš, Lucík, Lůca etc. …but please don´t use forms Lucinka and Lucina…:-):-D Male forms this name are Lucian and Lucius.

My mother wanted to give to me name Kateřina originally but this name I have from my grandmother. My next name is Marcela.
